How demonstrations will affect the education system on Monday 20th March 2023 (URGENT NEWS)

The newly elected government is facing a lot of challenges on the verge to balance the economy. All sectors of the economy are facing serious problems which are expected to go down for fellow Kenyans. The chief opposition leader is protesting the high cost of living where Kenyans are unable to meet their daily basic needs. Education is also facing a lot of challenges such as fee increment increase and poor remuneration that is being done by the Kenya Kwanza Government.

Despite Monday being declared a national holiday by the chief opposition leader, many universities have temporarily suspended their teaching and learning programs until Tuesday. One of the recent to close Monday services is Chuka University. All the students are expected to remain indoors until Tuesday when the learning process is expected to commence.

However, education is one of the most important good for the next generation to inherit, demonstrations cannot help in the development of a knowledgeable nation as they will lead to:

Destruction of infrastructures that facilitate the learning process

Death of staff or some learners

Loss of morals that are being expected as a nation

Secondary and primary pupils are on half-term and are expected to report on Monday for the continuation of the term one program. The children will not be allowed in some counties such as Nairobi, Kisumu, Kisii, and other areas where the opposition government has many followers.

The children can be easily stripped off once seen on the roads to school as the huge crowd is angry and might cause a lot of chaos within the setting.

Maasai mara university closes down for Monday demonstrations.

Here is the memo.
