To become a teacher in Kenya you need to qualify for a diploma or a degree in primary and secondary education respectively. Also, the ECDE group of teachers needs to have certificates or diplomas in early childhood and development.
As a qualified teacher, you need to be registered by TSC before starting a teaching job. For instance, make enrollment in one of the teachers training colleges across the country and get training experience to pursue your dreams.
Interestingly, for a primary teacher qualification you have to pass with a C plain in KCSE, ECDE you only need to have a D+ and for a secondary teacher, you only need to have a C+ as an overall grade and a C+ in two teaching subjects.
