Students seeking help in Anniversary Towers |
Through their leadership, the students are planning to make demonstrations at the Anniversary Towers due to HELB uncertainties and the delinquency to allocate funds earlier and make the students eat as chickens while the rest eat chickens.
Almost 140000 students have missed HELB due to less amount on the board. This forces the parents and guardians to use a lot of money to cater to their children's needs.
An immediate effect is required as the students are sleeping hungry and have nothing to eat since the economy is in crisis.
The president of Kenya Dr. William Ruto stated on Thursday at Kisii National Polytechnic and summoned the HELB board to start disbursing funds to students to facilitate their learning activities. All this would be done due to the allocated budget by the National Government to the HELB board to facilitate learning progress in higher institutions of learning.
